Burley, Idaho · Serving Mini Cassia

Somewhere between the first steps and the second birthday, your baby becomes an explorer. Toddlers learn by touching everything, tasting half of it, and testing every boundary, and our toddler rooms in Burley are built for exactly that stage.

Our caregivers are experienced at keeping up with toddlers without slowing them down: safe spaces to pull up and cruise, hands-on sensory play, music and movement, and patient coaching through big feelings. Many of our teachers speak fluent Spanish, something lots of Mini Cassia families appreciate.

Facility Advantages Your Kiddo Gets Every Day

Room to move, indoors too
Our huge indoor gym gives toddlers space to run and climb even when it's snowing sideways outside.
An acre to explore
Grass, giant shade trees, and safe open space, a real outdoor classroom, not a fenced strip of gravel.
Bilingual caregivers
Many of our teachers speak fluent Spanish, and toddler brains soak up both languages.
Positive guidance
Tantrums are met with calm redirection, not punishment. Toddlers feel safe, so they behave better.
Nutritious meals included
Lunch and snacks are provided, planned with toddler nutrition (and pickiness) in mind.
Secure building
Automatic door locks, cameras, and background-checked staff, because toddlers are fast.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages does your toddler program serve?

Kiddos from 18 months to 24 months, the busy in-between stage after the nursery and before our twos program. When your toddler is ready, they move up within the same building and often with the same friends.

My toddler isn't walking yet. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Toddler rooms at this age are full of cruisers and new walkers, and our spaces are set up for pulling up, cruising along furniture, and taking those wobbly first steps safely.

How do you handle tantrums and biting?

With patience and positive guidance. Toddlers have big feelings and limited words, so our caregivers redirect, comfort, and coach gentle hands. We keep routines consistent, which prevents most meltdowns before they start.

Do toddlers go outside every day?

Yes, weather permitting, plus daily time in our huge indoor gym when Idaho weather doesn't cooperate. Toddlers need to move, and we make sure they do, rain, snow, or smoke.

Do you accept ICCP for toddler care?

Yes. Lorraines is a licensed Idaho provider and accepts ICCP, which helps eligible working families cover a portion of child care costs. Call (208) 670-8823 with questions.

Can I tour with my toddler?

Please do. Bring your kiddo, watch them explore the room, and see how the caregivers connect with them. It's the best way to know it's a fit.

Come See It for Yourself

The best way to know if Lorraines is right for your kiddo is to walk the rooms, meet the teachers, and watch the kids play. Tours are always welcome, call ahead or send us a note.
