Enroll Your Child at Lorraines

We have programs for kiddos ages 6 weeks through 12 years. Reach out to ask about current openings, schedule a tour, and see how we can care for your family.

How Enrollment Works

01

Reach Out

Call us at (208) 670-8823 or fill out the form below. Let us know your child's age and your target start date. We'll check current availability and help you understand the next steps.

02

Schedule a Tour

We love showing families around! You'll see the classrooms, the big indoor gym, the acre of grass and giant shade trees, and meet some of our staff. Most parents leave saying 'I had no idea it was this big.'

03

Complete Enrollment Paperwork

We'll send you our enrollment packet, health forms, emergency contacts, authorization documents, and program agreement. Idaho licensing requires these before a child's first day.

04

First Day!

We do a gradual transition for infants and toddlers, typically starting with a shorter day and working up. For preschool-age and up, most kids walk in on day one and never look back.

Enrollment FAQs

Do you have a waitlist?

We often do, especially for infant and toddler spots. Openings happen as children age up through programs or families move. The earlier you reach out, the better, we'd rather tell you there's a short wait than turn you away at the door.

What are your hours?

We're open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We're closed on major federal holidays. We send calendar updates to enrolled families well in advance.

What's included in tuition?

All meals (breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack), all classroom supplies and materials, and all standard programming including gym time, outdoor play, and field trips for school-age kids.

Do you accept ICCP (Idaho Child Care Program)?

Yes! Lorraines is a licensed provider, and many of our families use ICCP, which helps eligible working families pay for a portion of their child care costs. You can learn more or apply at healthandwelfare.idaho.gov, or just ask us and we'll walk you through it.

What do I need to bring on the first day?

A change of clothes, any required medications (with authorization form), and a car seat if applicable. Infants need diapers, formula or pumped milk, and a comfort item from home if desired. We provide everything else.

Are you licensed by the State of Idaho?

Yes. Lorraines Daycare & Preschool is fully licensed by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and meets all state requirements for staff ratios, health, safety, and facility standards.
